Sound Designer/ Audio Engineer

Sid McCarty (He/They) is an Appalachian sound designer and writer based in Athens, Ohio. They use their work to explore identity, belonging, and permission while striving to be expressive, curious, and compassionate.  While much of their work consists of sound design and engineering for theatre, they also create narrative audio pieces and do live mixing. Sid has a BS from the University of Evansville, and an MFA in sound design from Ohio University.
